“Soulmates”: Jay-R and Kyla in Concert

Last November 29, 2010 was definitely a night of heart-melting and electrifying R & B music as Jay-R and Kyla, the country’s top R & B performers, wowed their loyal supporters with their powerful concert entitled Soulmates at the Music Museum, Greenhills, San Juan. “It’s our way of treating our fans who love R & B music in the Philippines and for patronizing our projects,” Kyla said in an interview.

Both managed by Arnold L. Vegafria of ALV Talent Circuit, Jay-R and Kyla were supported by their co-ALV artists in the crowd such as Billy Crawford, Kris Lawrence, KC Montero, Iya Villania, Ahron Villena, and John Prats who was with rumored new girlfriend Rachelle Ann Go. Kris and KC also jammed on stage with Prince of Soul.

Soulmates was presented by ALV Talent Circuit, in cooperation with iSecure Networks, Inc. (Kaspersky), leading distributor of Internet security solutions in the Philippines. JayR is its first celebrity endorser for all of its core Internet security products.

IYA VILLANIA’s Launch as New Tanduay Girl

VJ-host-actress Iya Villania was recently launched as the new Tanduay Girl at the Imperial Palace Suites in Timog Ave., QC. Iya’s sexy pics for the 2011 calendar were taken by famous fashion photographer Xander Angeles. Present at the press launch was Iya’s talent manager Arnold L. Vegafria, president of ALV Talent Circuit which also handles the careers of Billy Crawford, Carla Abellana, Jay-R, Patrick Garcia, Kyla, John and Camille Prats, etc.

Bench/ Human/ Kashieca on Philippine Fashion Week 2009

HINDI nagpahuli ang sikat na clothing brands na Bench, Human, at Kashieca sa kanilang partisipasyon sa Philippine Fashion Week 2009 noong May last year sa SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, at talaga naming humataw ito sa rami ng kanilang mga sikat na celebrity endorsers!

Ang sinasabing biggest retail brands na ito (owned by Mr. Ben Chan) ay hindi lamang nagpakita ng kanilang fashion statement sa show, kundi dinala rin nila that night ang ilan sa mga sikat sa showbiz ngayon, na rumampa that night – Piolo Pascual, Diether Ocampo, Jake Cuenca, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, Rafael Rossell, Jay-R, Christian Bautista, Iya Villania, Marco Alcaraz, Zanjoe Marrudo, Jon Avila, Karylle, John Prats, Enchong Dee, and Ms. Bea Alonzo.

Para sa hip at alternative fashion brand na HUMAN, lively Tokyo fashion took center stage. Ang Japanese animation ay isinabuhay sa design, with toy elements sa Human apparel. Nag-team up ang fashion designer na si Joey Samson and accessories designer Dennis Celestial para sa said segment.

For Human, ang celebrity endorsers na sina Luis Manzano at Billy Crawford ay rumampa with oversized prints, creative, transformative ensembles — the very sense of Human fashion na “fun, quirky, offbeat, and trendy”.

Bea Alonzo, one of KASHIECA’s endorsers (ang dalawa pa ay sina Lucy Torres-Gomez and Kris Aquino) was righfully the “star” sa segment ng nasabing brand. Ang Kashieca ay sinasabing isang “uber” fashionable and feminine brand.

Known for its sophisticated and glamorous designs, Kashieca showed why it’s the brand of choice of classically chic women. Nag-team up naman ang fashion designer na si TC Alvarez and Ferdie Abuel kaya naman Bea simply proved that “different look” sa rampa.

Samantala, ang fashion and lifestyle retail giant na BENCH ay dala ang Pinoy pride sa mundo ng fashion by making it “vernacular, global”. With fashion designer Brian Leyva at the helm, na-witness ng audiene ang kakaibang local elements with modern, edgy designs. Nakita natin ang casual chic basics ng Bench, mixed with local patterns and fabrics na nag-create ng unique appeal. Ikalawang pagrampa na ito ni Jake Cuenca sa Philippine Fashion Week kaya naman tuwang-tuwa ito.

Unang umapir si Diether Ocampo sa stage na suot ang isang bathrobe. Pero nang hinubad na niya ito at pinakita ang kanyang sexy top ay hindi na napigilan ang fans na magsipagtilian, huh! Diet definitely managed to look fresh, sexy, and good-looking all these years.

As expected, pinaka-applauded ang Bench Underwear segment. Itsura ng isang mini-Bench Blackout ang nasaksihan namin sa show, na mga guwapong Brazilian models ang rumampa in their briefs!

Tinilian nang husto ng crowd ang Bench Body hotties na sina Rafael Rosell, Jon Avila, Jay-R, Ron Morales, and Marco Alcaraz na inirampa ang latest underwear collection ng brand. Kasali rin sa show ang Be Bench female winner na si Regine Angeles.

Pero siyempre, ang pinaka-bida sa Bench segment ay si Piolo Pascual. Ang guwapong hunk ay nagsuot ng jeans at isang jacket-type of top sa simula ng ramp. Unti-unti niya itong hinubad, at isang sexy chaleco-type of top ang natira, showing off Piolo’s fab biceps and triceps — at dito nga nagsipagsigawan nang malakas ang fans!

Ang new members ng Bench family na kasama sa show ay sina Xian Lim of Katorse, Hansen Nichols of Pinoy Dream Academy 2, and Valerie Weigmann of PBB Teens 2. Nag-watch ng event sina Sheryl Cruz, Krista Ranillo, Kris Lawrence, Marvin Raymundo, Denise Laurel, talent manager Arnold Vegafria, at ABS-CBN business unit head Deo Endrinal.

Human Launches Billy Crawford’s Own Line of Perfume

PARA kay Billy Crawford, ang kanyang 27th birthday last year (2009) ay ang pinaka-memorable, so far. Marami nga kasing dapat na ipagpasalamat si Billy s akanyang kaarawan last year, at ang espesyal na birthday celebration niyang ‘yon ay nagsimula sa ASAP kunsaan nakasama niya ang kanyang loyal and loving fans.

Kay daming bumati sa kanyang mga kaibigan sa show. Isa pa, pagkalipas ng ilang buwan, inamin na rin sa wakas ni Billy ang kanyang natatanging pag-ibig para kay Niikki Gil na pinakamamahal ng singer-host-dancer.

“I’m not getting any younger, I’m happy with my life right now, and I think there’s nothing wrong naman if I tell you the truth… I love Nikki!” declares Billy sa kanyang TV interviews.

That same afternoon sa activity center ng Trinoma Mall in Quezon City, isang special birthday gift ang binigay kay Billy ng HUMAN, one of his endorsements – at ito ay ang sarili niyang line ng perfume!

Ang event na ‘yun nga ay ang media launch ng “FLY” — Billy Crawford’s own line of cool cologne. Human — the brand which is known for its hip designs for today’s young generation — ay meron na ngang “FLY” cologne ni Billy, na mabibili sa Human stores nationwide.

“I’ve been around, pero ngayon lang po ako talaga nag-enjoy nang husto sa brithday ko… Before, I used to be just a dancer and performer in Europe and here in the Philippines as well. I really can’t believe it until now that I am endorsing Human… and now, I’m very happy… May pabango na po ako!” masayang sabi ni Billy na sobrang thankful sa kanyang manager na si Arnold Vegafria at sa ABS-CBN.

Sa show, as expected, humataw sa sayaw ang world-class na pagka-dancer ni Billy na sumikat rin sa Europe bago siya tuluyang magbalik-Pilipinas. Kabilang na si Billy sa Filipino celebrities with own line of perfumes tulad nina Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez, Kris Aquino, Piolo Pascual. Sumunod rin sina Richard Gutierrez and Dingdong Dantes for Bench sa mga sumunod na buwan last year.

Um-attend sa launch ang Bench big boss Ben Chan, talent manager Douglas Quijano (SLN), Richard Gomez, Marvin Raymundo, at Enchong Dee.
